#ShootUrTweeple 06 Tanjong Pagar
Thankful for the great weather we had, albeit warm but I reckon the walk was well worth the heat. Our short trek through Tanjong Pagar area lasted a good 3 hours or so and we managed to cover all the spots that I wanted to show the tweeple (twitter+people). I managed to stumble across to the part of the train tracks where my wife and I went down for our pictures years, but it’s all nicely barbed up now. But nonetheless, the tweeple got the shots they could from the vantage point, overlooking the tracks. Showed them nicely restored pre-war shophouses in the area before heading in KTM railway station.
We hung around the area for a while. I waited a bit before we ushered everyone along to the Pinnacle. The sun was still beating down hard at 530pm. Got to the sky deck, 50 floors up, and we were welcomed by a stronge breeze, a welcomed relief from the heat below. Staying here for a good hour or so, we went down towards Tanjong Pagar plaza, our last spot of photography in the dying evening light.
Most of us adjourned to New Habour Cafe Bar for a much needed drink and food, plus chatter of course. And here we concluded our walk.
Below are the resulting images of the walk. Some of the post-process is a little experimental on my part. Really liked some of the results, a lot of the portraits I decided to leave it as-is without pushing the values too much. Magic hour’s always good for photography.
